September Field Trips

This month we have two field trips - Zoofari Days and Walter's Pumpkin Patch.

Zoofari Days is September 13th at the Sedgwick County Zoo.  TPA is partnering with the zoo for its 4th annual special day for homeschool families.  The admission price has been reduced for homeschool families to $5.25 per person.  We will meet at 9:30am by the flamingos.  Activities are from 9:30 - 1pm.  Bring a sack lunch if you want and we can eat lunch together!

We will be heading to Walter's Pumpkin Patch on Friday, September 28th.  For their location and directions, check out their website - walterspumpkinpatch.com.  Everyone needs to arrive there by 9:45am to pay and check-in.  Our wagon ride out to the patch is at 10am, so we need to be waiting in the pick up area by then.  The cost is $5 per person (children and adults).  Under age 2 is free as long as they do not get a pumpkin.  After the patch, there are tons of fun things for the kids to do.  Again, bring a sack lunch if you want or they also have a great concession stand with lots of lunch options.

Please RSVP for both activities in the comment section so that we have a good head count!!  Hope to see you there!

Wish we could join in, but I'm not feeling quite brave enough to head out there without an extra adult in my entourage. Hope we get to see you all soon!
